Restore · Refine · Renew

Pool and spa renovation that addresses the existing structure, surfaces and systems before the final finish.

Maximum Comfort Pool & Spa

Start with what lies beneath.

A successful remodel is more than a new color. We assess the existing vessel, surface adhesion, waterline tile, coping, plumbing and equipment to understand what can remain and what needs attention.

Hidden conditions can become visible only after removal begins. MCPS provides an estimate and works on a Time & Materials basis, with scope changes discussed and authorized in writing.

Our approach

Restore the foundation. Then the finish.

01

Spot chip-out or full removal

Sound existing material may allow targeted removal. Widespread hollow, loose or deteriorated surfaces may call for a 100% chip-out. The condition of the substrate determines the approach.

02

Bonding & waterproofing

Preparation, compatible bond systems and Basecrete where specified create the foundation for the next finish. A new coating cannot correct an unsound substrate on its own.

03

Tile, coping & interior finishes

Coordinate the vessel edge, waterline and interior with the property. Compare finish texture and water color using the MCPS selection documents and physical samples.

04

Systems & start-up

Evaluate heating, filtration, controls and plumbing access alongside the surfaces. The new finish needs a planned fill, start-up and ongoing water-balance routine.
